Pick up by private limousine in Zurich either at the airport, train station or your hotel and an approx. 1 hrs 30 minutes drive will take you to BAD RAGAZ, an elegant Victorian Spa with a long tradition as a health spa presenting imposing hotels and parks.

The Swiss town of Bad Ragaz in the canton of St. Gallen, is renowned for its spa culture. Located at 510 m altitude in the Rhine Valley, Bad Ragaz has its own hot spring which surges down from the four-kilometre distant Tamina Gorge at about 35°C. The Bad Ragaz spring was actually discovered in the 11th century and monks began to make use of its healing powers some 200 years later. However, Switzerland’s oldest spa first began its rise to fame around 1840 when the healing waters were channelled down to the village in wooden pipes. It rapidly became a fashionable spa where wealthy people came to relax and recuperate.

Pick-up by our Toggenburg Experience Representative at the hotel and get to know Bad Ragaz, In the city centre you´ll find numerous elegant shops, cosy cafés and restaurants. Maybe you wish to take a treatment in the Ancient Thermal Baths before visiting the Cloister Museum and Castle?

Continue to visit Heidiland, the setting of Johanna Spyri’s classic story of a Swiss mountain girl and her grandfather, a tale that has captivated generations of readers throughout the world.
Your discovery program continues to Liechtenstein, the small alpine country landlocked between Switzerland and Austria. It´s the last remnant of the Holy Roman Empire and an independent state with close ties to Switzerland. Enjoy your lunch brerak.

After lunch continue to Wildhaus-Unterwasser and visit the Zwingli House now a museum dedicated to the 15th century Zurich reformer, Huldrych Zwingli ( 1484 - 1531 ). Get your Mountain Feeling and enjoy the pure nature, overwhelming green landscapes and a spectacular Alpine scenery. If weather permits a cable car ride will bring you to the top of Mount Chäserrugg – 2262 m above sea level, from where you have an unforgettable view over Swiss and Austrian Mountain Ranges.

Late afternoon return to Bad Ragaz. Relax and enjoy the luxurious ambiance of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

Bregenz – Lindau - Friedrichshafen

After Breakfast pick you up at the hotel and after approx. 1 ½ hours drive you´ll arrive in Bregenz in Austria. Vorarlberg’s capital Bregenz is delightfully located at Lake Constance, Central Europe’s third largest lake, offering a dense cultural program and a wide range of outdoor activities. Pfänder, the local mountain at 1064m, offers impressive panorama views, while the pleasure boat excursions offer a unique opportunity to view the city and mountains from a different perceptive. The centerpiece of the 2000 year old city at the eastern shores of Lake Constance is the bulbous, [St. Martin’s Tower] located in the medieval center of town.

Your discovery program continues to Lindau in Bavaria / Germany. Lindau's famous harbour, which is still regarded today as the most attractive anywhere on Lake Constance, was completed in 1856. Here you will find simply everything in a region, which we believe to be the most beautiful end corner of Germany.

Only a few kilometers away lies Friedrichshafen on the shores of Lake Constance in the South of Germany. It is not only known for being a tourist resort but also as the home of the Zeppelin airships. Let yourself be enchanted by promenading along the boardwalk, one of the prettiest and longest of its kind around Lake Constance. Enjoy an Apple Strudel with a spectacular view of the lake as well as of the Austrian and Swiss Alps! Visit the castle church and the estuary of the Rotach.

From Friedrichshafen you´ll cross Lake Constance (Bodensee) by ferry boat - a wonderful approximately 50 minutes sailing, which we´ll bring you  back to Switzerland at the opposite side of the lake. From here it´s only a short drive back to Bad  Ragaz.
